This year's conference takes place in two locations:
On Thursday, the Science Fiction Studies Symposium will be held in Special Collections, Rivera Library 4th floor (A). You can park at the parking lot 6 (a)* which is the nearest to the Library, but you will have to walk back to your car and renew the permit as the time limit is 2 hours. A University van will run from the Conference hotels to the library between 1 and 2 PM.The first run will depart from Marriott at 1:10; if needed the van will return for another run around 1:30.
The conference proper (Friday through Sunday) will proceed in UCR Extension School (B). Parking permits for lot b next to the Extension School will be available at the registration desk.
Airport Information
Riverside is within driving distance from three major airports: Ontario, Los Angeles (LAX) and John Wayne in Orange County (SNA). Unfortunately, there is no convenient public transportation from any of them; Super Shuttle is practically the only option short of renting a car.Ontario Airport is the most convenient airport to use when traveling to the Riverside area. Directions from the airport:
Take the 10 Freeway East to the 15 South, and then 60 the 60 East. Take University Avenue exit and turn right. UCR Extension School is 150 yds to your left.

If you are coming on Thursday for the Seminar, instead of University Ave, take the next exit, Martin Luther King Boulevard; off ramp take right, another right on the lights, go under the highway and take another right. Parking lot 6 (a) is to your left.
